Mini sessions are typically held throughout the year at a discounted rate with a shorter session time. These convenient photography mini-sessions are perfect for anyone who wants high-quality photography without committing to a full session.

Whether it’s a fun outdoor family portrait or a romantic moment between couples, I strive to create an experience that will result in beautiful and timeless photos. Even with these shorter sessions, you can be sure that your photos will not only be of the highest quality, but also capture the most meaningful moments in your life.
Are Mini-Sessions Right For You?
While I strive to make mini-session events accessible to a variety of needs, they simply aren’t the right fit for everyone. Unlike longer photography sessions where you have my undivided attention for a full hour, minis strive to capture memories for more people in a limited amount of time. Multiple 15-20-minute back-to-back sessions are scheduled for each event. To ensure that each person has the best possible experience, it is important to stick to your reserved time slot.
So, if you have a large family, your kiddo typically needs more time to open up to the camera or is a ball of energy and wiggles, it can be difficult to get perfect pictures with a short photo session. In these situations, a mini-session likely won’t give you the timeless photos you’re looking for. Instead, a longer session will give us a chance to get to know each other and get comfortable in front of the camera, ultimately leading to more genuine emotion and quality photos.

Mini photography sessions offer the same timeless photography as a full session without the commitment of a longer session time. In just 15-20 minutes, I’ll create photos that highlight the love and genuine connection you share. These sessions are an ideal option for anyone wanting to update their photos, send out holiday cards or announcements, update a headshot, are short on time, or someone who wants in the photo but doesn’t like to sit for long!
You can rest assured that just because we are shortening our time together, it certainly doesn’t mean that these photos are any less significant to me. True to my perfectionist's heart, you’ll enjoy the same exceptional high-quality images and attention to detail that you know and love from our longer sessions together!

It's time to get ready! Picture day is your time to shine, so pretend you’re going in for a magazine cover photoshoot and live it up! I’ll give you everything you need to prepare, including:
- A detailed style guide to help you choose outfits and colors that complement my light and airy elevated photography style, complete with a helpful checklist to help you stay organized.
- Hair and makeup recommendations, upon request.
- A detailed questionnaire to learn about your goals, likes, and dislikes.
- An optional planning consultation call to discuss the details, get to know each other, clear up any last-minute questions, and provide additional 1:1 outfit guidance.
- Open lines of communication throughout the whole process.

Preparations
It is important to arrive on time and ready to get started. Multiple photoshoots are booked for these events, and in order to give each session my undivided attention, it is essential that everyone sticks to their time slot. Don’t worry, though, the truncated time schedule doesn’t mean that we will be skimping on the experience!

Picture Day!
Time to make your vision a reality. I'll guide you through poses & photo combinations. Don't worry if you're shy or nervous; I'm here to help and make it fun! I'll get there early to set up, and you let me know when you arrive. We'll begin with the full family, then go through different photo combinations, starting with your most important down, capturing your priority photos first.
Editing magic begins. Editing is my favorite part of the session, and I often have to break out the tissues. I carefully hand-edit each photo, so you’ll receive only the best, highest quality images, free from distracting imperfections. You can anticipate a sneak peek shortly after your session and your fully-edited, private digital gallery within 15 days. You will have the option to purchase prints and products straight from your gallery.
