Photography is a wonderful way to document and remember the love and happiness that comes from being with family. Taking pictures allows us to appreciate the small moments that ultimately become the most important ones. Photos give us the opportunity to revisit our treasured times that are gone too soon, while also having something to share and pass on to future generations. Looking back on family photographs can bring back the joy and nostalgia of those times, helping us to slow down and reminisce on the simple beauty of being together.

With every click of the camera, I promise to capture the genuine connection between your family, the laughter and joy as you spend time together, the unique bond that each of you share, and the love you have for one another. I want to create timeless images that will stay with you always and bring you back to these special moments.

My goal is to make sure you have an enjoyable experience, feel confident, and, ultimately, love your photos. I'll guide you through everything from choosing the right location to finding the best outfits and poses. I'll send you a questionnaire to help me understand your vision and a style guide to help you dress to impress. Let's make magical memories you'll treasure forever!

Say hello! After you fill out the contact form, keep an eye on your email inbox. Together, we’ll confirm a date and discuss your vision. I'll send you a location guide and help you choose the ideal photo backdrop.
All sessions are scheduled during the “golden hour,” which is approximately an hour and a half before the sun sets.

Once we settle on the details, we can make it official! I will send you a contract to review and an invoice for your initial deposit.
Book Your Session
It's time to get ready! Picture day is your time to shine, so pretend you’re going in for a magazine cover photoshoot and live it up! I’ll give you everything you need to prepare, including:
- A detailed style guide to help you choose outfits and colors that complement my light and airy elevated photography style, complete with a helpful checklist to help you stay organized.
- Hair and makeup recommendations, upon request.
- A detailed questionnaire to learn about your goals, likes, dislikes, and about everyone in the group.
- An optional planning consultation call to discuss the details, get to know each other, clear up any last-minute questions, and provide additional 1:1 outfit guidance.
- Open lines of communication throughout the whole process.

Preparations
Time to make your vision a reality. I'll guide you through poses & photo combinations. Don't worry if you're shy or nervous; I'm here to help and make it fun! I'll get there early to set up, and you let me know when you arrive. We'll begin with the full family, then go through different photo combinations, starting with your most important down, capturing your priority photos first.

Picture Day
Editing magic begins. Editing is my favorite part of the session, and I often have to break out the tissues. I carefully hand-edit each photo, so you’ll receive only the best, highest quality images, free from distracting imperfections. You can anticipate a sneak peek shortly after your session and your fully-edited, private digital gallery within 15 days. You will have the option to purchase prints and products straight from your gallery.

Q: How much is a family photo session?
A: $800 for up to 5 people and 35 professionally edited, high-resolution digital images. Each additional person is $25. Please see the investment section for package inclusions.
Q: Do you offer large family portraits or extended family sessions?
A: At this time, no package includes extended family. Additional participants can be included at a rate of $25 per person in addition to the standard session fee for up to 8 people as an add-on to your package.
Q: What is your photography style?
A: My style of photography is heartfelt and authentic. I love capturing sweet moments of love, connection, and laughter. I want you to look at your final gallery and FEEL something. While I do include photos of everyone smiling at the camera, I focus more on the bond that is shared between the people I am photographing. Because of the “unposed” nature of the experience, some would describe it as lifestyle photography.
Aesthetically, I am a light and airy photographer. I believe this style adds a timeless feel to each image.

A: As a photographer in Northern Virginia, I serve the DMV area, focusing within a 30-mile radius of Fairfax, VA.
